Counselors are on duty from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Voice mail messages may be left at any time.  

SCORE has 389 Chapters throughout the United States and its' territories. SCORE's more than 12,000 members are business executives, small business owners and professionals, both working and retired.  They volunteer their time and experience to provide free counseling and low-cost business workshops in their communities.  The Charlotte SCORE Chapter has more than 45 counselors in Charlotte as well as active branch operations in Gastonia, at the Chamber of Commerce Office (704) 864-2621, and in Salisbury, at the Rowan County Public Library (704) 638-3000.

The Charlotte Chapter of SCORE is looking for "a few good members".

Male and female volunteer SCORE Counselors are needed.  There has been a dramatic increase in Women Business Owners.  In July,1999, almost 60% of Charlotte Score's new business clients were Women-Owned or Women-Partnered Enterprises.

Charlotte SCORE needs Female Counseling Leadership to guide this growing female client base.  If you meet the criteria outlined below, and wish additional information, please contact us.

If you have Management, Administrative or Business Ownership Skills, and knowledge of contemporary business practices, and would enjoy volunteering 2 or 3 days a month to advise and guide new and existing small business owners, SCORE may be for you.
