"GETTING STARTED" is a three hour seminar, held monthly, devoted to helping evaluate whether starting a business is feasible and to provide guidelines for the development of a Marketing/Business plan.  The objectives of "GETTING STARTED" are basic.  Anyone interested in knowing the contents of a Marketing Plan, a Business Plan, and identifying funding sources should attend this session.

The "GETTING STARTED" Program continues to be revised.  The program includes new topical material. The course handouts includes "The Plan" workbook. A more extensive approach to the pro-forma financial material and development of a personal net worth statement is included in the course.

The course schedule is highlighted below. Due to the interest in this course, SCORE will offer this course on a bi-weekly basis. Enrollment will be limited to 20 clients to ensure audience participation.

Future plans call for the "GETTING STARTED" Program being held at the Salisbury, Lake Norman, Monroe and Gastonia SCORE locations.
